The children's author David Walliams dropped by book publisher.
Acclaimed young adult author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A representative for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of questionable actions towards female individuals.
The publisher has not elaborated on the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."

He has published over four dozen titles altogether, encompassing a Christmas book called *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
