Salah Issues Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward apologised to the group of players after the fallout from his public comments.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match subsequent to making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.

The player stated that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “I get that there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have been impressive in the period after the situation. The player is convinced the outburst were not designed to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, playing well and securing victories.”
